The Winter Player development camp at Clemson is an intense two-day baseball development camp designed for any serious baseball player to improve, teach, and develop skills in the game of baseball using the cutting edge technology used daily within the Clemson Baseball program. This technology includes Trackman spin rate data, Diamond Kinetics pre-contact swing data, Rapsodo batted ball data as well as pitch shaping data.
Come be a part of the Clemson Baseball player development program and use our innovative technology to take your swing mechanics and pitching mechanics along with in-depth instruction on developing fundamentals. We will use the technology to help enhance your skills with drills and techniques needed to advance to the next level. Campers will be taught programs such as bat speed development, swing sequence development, and many more! Individual defensive skills will be taught in all positions including infield, outfield, catching, and pitching. Each defensive specialty position, including pitching, will include hitting instruction as well.
Come be a part of this unique one-of-a-kind experience. Your son will be trained just like he is a part of the Clemson Baseball Player development program!

9:00-12:00 pm – Defensive or Offensive instruction, drills, skill development
12:00-1:00 pm – Lunch Break
1:00-4:00 pm – Defensive or Offensive instruction, drills, skill development
Sunday, December 5, 2021
9:00-2:00 pm – More Specific instruction in offensive and defensive areas
12:00-12:30 pm – Lunch Break
12:30-4:00pm – More specific skill instructions / hitting extravaganza
4:00 pm- Pick up players at Tiger Field
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily; this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
The Winter Player Development camp staff will consist of the Clemson Baseball Coaching staff along with other well-known professional and college coaches from DII and Junior College ranks. (NCAA rules do not allow outside DI coaches to attend during this camp’s dates)
The camp check-in time will be from 8:00-8:45 am on Saturday, December 4 at Tiger Field. Camp Starts at 9:00 am on December 4, 2021. Camp ends at Tiger Field at 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Camp will end approximately around 4 pm each day.
Items to Bring
Baseball or other athletic clothing
Baseball Bat and Batting Gloves
Catchers must bring their own gear
Cleats and tennis shoes or turf shoes
Camp Waiver Information
Medical forms/Waivers are available through the registration website and will be attached to your receipt/confirmation upon registration completion. Please download, complete, and print the medical paperwork and waivers to bring with you to registration. All medical waiver information must be completed.
Campers may bring a copy of their school physical in place of the medical form with the doctor’s signature as long as it has been completed within one year prior to the first day of camp. If you have had a sports physical within 1 year of the date of camp, you may attach a copy of it to the waiver. If you attach a copy of a previous physical, please still bring the medical form/waiver but having a physician sign the medical form is not necessary.
Because this is a non-overnight camp, a COVID-19 test prior to arrival is not required.

Directions from I-85
Take I-85 to exit #19B. Exit toward Clemson. Follow Hwy 76/28 West for about 12 miles. Nearing the Clemson campus turn left on to Perimeter Road.
Follow for approximately 2 miles, and right near the football stadium, and basketball facility you will see Doug Kingsmore Stadium (Home of the Clemson Baseball Tigers).
Lunch will be provided for each paid camper.
This is not an “overnight” camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
