Description

This day camp (9:00 am until 11:30 am) is designed for both boys and girls of all abilities. Campers are grouped by age and skill level. Daily activities include instructional practices and games in a fun and challenging environment with emphasis on individual soccer technique, team-building, and sportsmanship values. HSA’s experienced staff are all positive role models with a contagious passion for the game.

 

Registration for this camp will be on December 27th between 8:30-9:00 a.m. Please check your email for updates on the location of our camp registration and each subsequent session, since the location will be based on daily weather. This camps runs from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each morning. Please feel free to drop your child off for the morning or stay to watch!

 

This camp session is capped at 40 participants.

What to bring

Please remember to pack a soccer ball, soccer shoes, shin guards, casual shoes, flat-soled shoes for indoor use, sunscreen, warm-up/rain suit, and a water bottle. Please clearly label your personal items.

 

Facilities

Training facilities include Houchen’s Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium and the WKU Soccer Complex.

 

Academy Staff

The WKU coaching staff organizes and conducts the sessions for this camp. Current and former WKU soccer players will serve as assistant coaches, group leaders and mentors. Certified athletic trainers and staff will supervise campers.

 

Medical Staff

Medical staff will be on hand to care for any situation that might arise during camp. In the event of injury, a Certified Athletic Trainer will assess on-site and determine the appropriate care. If additional care is needed (emergency care, x-ray, etc.), your child will be taken to the nearest facility, and you will be notified as soon as possible.

 

Meals

No meals will be provided for this camp.

 

Accommodations

This is not an “overnight” camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.

 

Merchandise

Hilltopper soccer merchandise will be available for purchase at this event.

 

Since NCAA rules are strict about returning phone calls, please be sure to identify yourself as a camper so that we are permitted to call you back.

 

Miscellaneous Information

Refund/Cancellation Policy: Due to the minimal cost of this camp, we do NOT offer Cancellation Protection for this camp session. If you must cancel for any reason, please give us at least 72 hours advance notice and you will be refunded half of the registration fee.

 

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
