UH Basketball Day Camp 2


Grades: 2nd-12th

Location: Athletic Alumni Center-Guy V. Lewis Basketball Center

Monday, June 18, 2018 to Thursday, June 21, 2018



Our day camps are available to all boys entering grades 2nd -12th. Campers are grouped in leagues by age and ability. Campers work in small groups to develop individual and team skills, play in camp competitions, and compete in games.


General Information

Camp Includes
Camp Basketball

June 18-20 … 9:00am to 5:00pm
June 21 … 9:00am to 2:00pm


What to bring:
Come dressed and ready to play with athletic shorts, a t-shirt, and basketball/athletic shoes. Do not bring jewelry, watches, hats, etc. Cell phones will be put away during camp time. Additionally, do not bring a basketball, as this is provided.


Camp will take place in the Athletic Alumni Center and the brand new Guy V. Lewis Basketball Center. Due to renovations and construction, there will NOT be any camp activities taking place in Hofheinz Pavilion.


Camp Trainer
We have a full-time, certified athletic trainer who will be on site throughout the entirety of camp. If you have any medical concerns regarding your child, please convey this to the trainer at check-in. In the waiver statement that was electronically signed, please note that over-the-counter medications may be provided. Should you have any questions about this policy, please speak to our camp trainer at check-in.


All family members are welcome to come and observe camp. Signage from the lobby will direct you to seating.


Pick up and Drop off
Pick up and drop off will take place in the Athletic Alumni Center. Pick-up will take place at 5:00 PMMonday – Wednesday and 2:00 PM on Thursday for Day Camps 1 and 2.



Registration will take place in the Athletics Alumni Center. The entrance is located on Cullen Blvd, between Holman St. and Elgin St. Please arrive and hour before camp starts to register your camper.


Parking Information

Parents are invited to watch their camper(s) during camp, but will be responsible for their own parking. Parking is available in the Visitor Garage on Holman St. and in front of the Athletic Alumni Center, however only the first 30 minutes are free. Any additional time is charged an hourly rate.



“BYOL”. No lunch will be provided, but a snack bar/concession stand will be available throughout each day. A camp bank will be available for campers to deposit money throughout the duration of camp so they do not have to hold on to it during camp.


Miscellaneous Information

Refund Policy
• $50.00 of total is considered a deposit and is non-refundable.
• If camper cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances, notification must be made prior to check-in.
• No other camper may attend in place of your child due to absence.
• A $25.00 failed payment/returned check charge will be charged per transaction.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you registered for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
