Tigers Prospect Select Camp

Description

This camp is for any HS or JUCO player looking to take his game to the next level. We will discuss baserunning, hitting, pitching, defense, and strength and conditioning. Each player will have the opportunity to showcase his skills and play games in a competitive format in front of the Clemson University Coaching staff and other coaches.

Dates and Times

• Friday, August 18 – Check in 4:00pm, offensive session 5:00pm-7:00pm
• Saturday, August 19 – 9:00am-6:00pm
• Sunday, August 20 – 9:00am-until games finish

 

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily; this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication

 

Camp Check-in

Check in on Friday, August 18 will begin at 4pm at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. Please check in 30 minutes before camp begins on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Items to Bring

• Baseball or other athletic clothing
• Baseball Bat and Batting Gloves
• Baseball glove
• Baseball Helmet
• Catchers must bring their own gear
• Cleats and tennis shoes or turf shoes

 

Camp Waiver Information

Medical forms/Waivers are available through the registration website. Please download, complete, and print the medical paperwork and waivers to bring with you to registration. All medical waiver information must be completed.

 

Campers may bring a copy of their school physical as long as it has been completed within one year prior to the first day of camp. All campers must bring a completed medical form and camp waiver along with copy of school physical.

Directions from I-85

Take I-85 to exit #19B. Exit toward Clemson. Follow Hwy 76/28 West for about 12 miles. Nearing the Clemson campus turn left on to Perimeter Road. Follow for approximately 2 miles, and right near the football stadium, and basketball facility you will see Doug Kingsmore Stadium (Home of the Clemson Baseball Tigers).

 

Meals

Campers will be provided lunch during camp.

 

Accommodations

This is not an “overnight” camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.

 

Merchandise

Clemson Baseball merchandise will be available to purchase at this session.

 

Cancellation Policy

All camps are non-refundable. Only camp credits will be given except in unforeseen circumstances, such as injuries or other unique situations. Please send your cancellation requests directly to the camp administrator, Brad Owens at owens4@clemson.edu. Your request must be sent 5 days prior to the start of camp to receive a future camp credit.  Processing fees are non-refundable.
