Description

This baseball camp is for players ages 8-12 that are interested in developing their skills as the summer winds down. The camp will take place on the Le Moyne College campus using the same facilities the college team uses.

 

Individual instruction will be given to players in all areas of play. Hitting, fielding, base running, pitch- ing and catching will all be covered. Game play will also occur utilizing the individual skills in a team setting.

 

Equipment

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, turf or tennis shoes (in the case the camp is moved indoors due to weather), hat, helmet and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete.

 

Facilities

Dick Rockwell Field, Batting Cages,Turf Complex, as well as the Athletic Center in the case of bad weather. Report to Dick Rockwell Field for check-in prior to 9am on the first day of camp. If the weather is bad check-in will be in the entrance to the Athletic Center. The entrance to the parking lot is located off of Springfield Road between the Softball Field and Turf Field.

Waiver Information

Waiver will be attached to your e-mailed receipt as well as available on-line. Please turn in all forms at camp check in.  Download Waiver

 

Due to new county and state department regulations all campers must submit a copy of their immunization records before the camp begins. Please email them to camp director Scott Cassidy at cassidsr@lemoyne.edu. This is in addition to the required medical waiver. Campers will not be able to participate unless these records are on file.

 

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”. We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date.  Processing fees are non-refundable.

 

Miscellaneous

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
