Description

This is a round Robin type event. Our baseball program will host 10 travel organizations and offer 3 games each. Teams can/will be coached by current staff/players and staff brought in to help facilitate the team camp. We will bring in other college coaches/scouts from surrounding colleges/universities/junior colleges that will also be in attendance. All games will have trackman up on the video board which will include both pitching and hitting metrics.

Camp Philosophy

The growth and success of Rice Baseball Camps are primarily due to the baseball team’s long history of success on the diamond. This history includes 197 players drafted by the MLB, 7 College World Series Appearances, and 1 National Championship. Head coach Jose Cruz Jr., a graduate of Rice University and 12-Year Major-Leaguer, will be in attendance for all of our camps. Our ultimate goal is to provide our knowledge and expertise to help grow each individual’s love for the game of baseball.

Meals

We will provide a concession stand throughout the duration of the event. It will be on the concourse of the stadium. We will provide simple snacks/beverages.

Check-In

Each organizations team will check in with Rob Hardy prior to event. You will be assigned game times. Sunday games will be assigned based on travel distance.

Parking will be allowed in West Lot 4 for $5.00

Refund Policy

Only camp credit for future events is granted for cancellations.  Refunds are granted on a case-by-case basis only. Cancellations received within 72 hours of the start of the event will not be granted refunds regardless of circumstance.  Any requests must be sent to Rob Hardy, Jose Cruz Jr, Paul Janish & Parker Bangs (contact info below).

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
