Pitchers/Catchers Prospect Camp
2018-2020 Graduates ONLY
Location: Benedetti Diamond – San Francisco, CA
Saturday, January 13, 2018 to Sunday, January 14, 2018
The camp will begin with a unique experience not usually seen at a prospect camp. The event will start Saturday, January 13 at 9:00am in one of the classrooms at USF. The day will begin with registration and an introduction to the Dons staff and culture as well as a Q and A session. After the morning meet and greet, players will begin their workout. The players will be lead in the same warm-up routine as the Dons by coaches and players currently at USF. They will then go through a workout on the field where they will receive position specific instruction from Coach Matt Hiserman and Coach Aritz Garcia. On Sunday, January 14, players will be split up for SIMULATED games. The playing time will break down as follows:
1. Pitcher Only/Pitcher Primary- 2 innings
2. Position Players- 3 at bats
3. Two way player, pitching as second position- 1 inning
Along with the games and workout players will also receive instruction in the mental side of the game and will go through a strength and conditioning workout (clean shoes required). Players be given a development plan to best prepare players for their spring season.
At the University of San Francisco, it’s about more than what happens between the lines of a baseball field. Our Pitchers/Catchers Prospect Camp will help us develop your skills and insights as a baseball player, but also as a young man.

Camp Times are:
Saturday, January 13: 9:00am-3:00pm
Sunday, January 14: 9:00am-3:00pm

Each prospect must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided.
*Camp & Clinic Drop-off Policy*
Players and parents must avoid using the service driveway that leads to the baseball field at all costs. We kindly ask that you either walk along the path that runs directly next to the dormitory building that overlooks the baseball field, or walk down the stairs from Memorial Gym. This is a policy that will be strictly enforced and if violated will be ground for immediate dismissal from camp. Please understand the policy is in place for your safety.
Camp check-in will be from 8:00am-9:00am. Prospects will also be given their camp shirt during this time. All camper accounts must be reconciled prior to the start of the camp on Saturday.

Benedetti Diamond is the home of USF Baseball. The facility has recently undergone a major renovation adding a new reinforced exterior fence and adding a brand new scoreboard; a majestic field in the center of the city with virtually no rival to its aesthetics and nostalgia.
All camp participants attending activities at Benedetti Diamond should be dropped off and pick up in the surface parking lot off Golden Gate Ave between Hayes Healy and Memorial Gym. Campers should not be dropped off or picked up anywhere on Golden Gate Ave, as per University policy.
Prospects should bring a sack lunch or money for purchasing lunch in the USF cafeteria. Snacks will be provided.
Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.
We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers. We do however offer “cancellation protection”. This cancellation protection gives participants some peace of mind in case plans change. Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to check-in. If you cancel within 14 days of check-in, we offer camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from the camp date and can be used at any of our future camps in that time frame. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
