Attention Pitcher’s and Catcher’s!!!
USD Baseball will be hosting a pitcher’s and catcher’s boot camp next weekend January 20th from 10am – 1pm.
Led by pitching coach Nathan Choate. The catchers will work with current catching coach Mike Ramazzotti and Graduate assistant Matt Parker (former Minnesota Twins minor league catcher).
During the 3-hour session pitchers will cover all areas below:
– Bullpen with Coach Choate
– Effective Arm Maintenance Program
– Proper Catch Play Routine/Progression
– Pitching Preparation (Pre/Post throw)
– Proper PFP fundamentals and techniques
– Pick-off Progression/Controlling the Running Game
– Pitcher Fitness Program
During the 3-hour session catchers will cover all areas below:
– Pop ups
– Throwing (to all bases)/Controlling the running game.
– Catching Bullpens
– Importance of Tempo (Get ball back to catcher/Get signs/GO!!!)

Limited to 18 pitchers and 12 catchers in each session
Torero Baseball Camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants, in accordance with the NCAA camps and clinics legislation (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
Please check in 30 minutes prior to start time.
Medical forms will be attached to your e-mailed receipt and are available on-line. Please print fill out and bring to camp. Download Waiver Form
Lunch will NOT be provided.

Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel.
