Mizzou Elite Players Camp

The Mizzou Elite Players Camp is designed for the serious junior golfer (ages 13-18), who is hoping to play collegiate golf in the future. The camp will offer instruction for competitive golfers and will include practice round strategies, how to read pin sheets, creating and using yardage books, pre-tournament routines and post tournament statistic forms. We will also offer on-course coaching during the tournament with club selection, shot placement and green reading, much like a college golf event.


The Camp will conclude with a 36 hole Stroke Play tournament (18 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday) at The Club at Old Hawthorne, one of the best golf courses in Mid-Missouri.



Two day, 36-hole tournament for boys and girls ages 13-18. Coaches will be on-course giving advice and interacting with players during both rounds. Trophies will be awarded for Boys & Girls Champion and runners-up. Results will be sent to Junior Golf Scoreboard and tee times and live scoring will be available on Birdiefire.com


College Preparation: We will discuss time management and the recruiting process, how to be successful in college academically and as a student-athlete.


Swing Instruction: Coaches will provide swing instruction on the range and practice green Sunday afternoon and during the warm-up session prior to Monday’s round.


Registration Includes

Full swing and short game instruction, on-course coaching during tournament rounds, range balls and practice area access, two rounds of golf, tee gift, trophies for Boy’s and Girl’s champion and runner up


Practice Rounds
Practice rounds can be scheduled on an individual basis by calling the Pro Shop directly (573) 442-5280 ext. 1.  Practice round greens fess will be at the Accompanied Guest Rate, $50 weekdays, $60 weekends.  Practice rounds will NOT be available on Sunday July, 1.

Golf Equipment Needed: Golf clubs, spike-less golf shoes, pull cart if needed (none will be available for rent).


Additional Information: Experienced trainers are on call at all times. Each camper is covered by health and accident insurance during camp hours. Insurance coverage is secondary to primary insurance.


Note: *The NCAA prohibits an MU booster (other than a parent/legal guardian or close family member) from paying any portion of a camper’s camp fees.
