Description

The Knights baseball camp is a great opportunity to receive instruction in the fundamentals of baseball. We will emphasize the proper technique of hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, and defensive play. Our camp will include instruction in small groups and individual attention. We will provide a positive atmosphere that promotes learning and enjoyment of the game of baseball. Players will be grouped together according to age and ability.

 

Ages 5 – 12 are welcome

Ages 5 to 7 will attend a half day camp each day from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Campers age 8 to 12 will attend a full day camp from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

 

Cost

Half day (ages 5-7) $80.00

Full Day (ages 8-13) $160.00

 

Equipment

Campers must bring their own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Please mark camper’s names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings. Please apply sunscreen to your child each day.

 

Staff

Campers will receive instruction from Middle Georgia Coaches and college players. All camps will be directed by Middle Georgia State College Head Baseball Coach Paul Knight. Coach Knight is completing his 10th year as the Head Coach at Middle Georgia and has more than 20 years of college coaching and camp experience.

 

Swimming Pool

Full day campers may go to the on campus swimming pool each day. There is a certified life guard present at all times. Please pack a bathing suit and towel.

 

Facilities

Camp will be conducted at the baseball field on our campus in Cochran, GA. In addition, other athletic facilities and buildings on campus may be used.

 

Supervision

Participants will be supervised from registration until dismissal.

 

Check-in Information

Camper check-in will begin approximately 30 minutes before camp begins on the first day.

Meals / Snacks

Campers must bring their own drinks and snacks. Full day campers will need to bring their own lunch. We will come inside to eat lunch each day. Half day campers will be dismissed at noon and will not need lunch. Water & ice will be provided for all campers.

 

Miscellaneous Information

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel.
