Description

LVC Prospect Clinics are a great opportunity for all HS aged players who have the goal to play college baseball. The clinic is split into two unique sessions. The first session will feature skill development and a pro-style showcase. The afternoon session will be scripted scrimmage games. Pitchers will receive a certain number of minutes or batters to face, and hitters at-bats will be evenly distributed to maximize their opportunities. The entire LVC Baseball Coaching Staff be at the clinic, along with several current players that will teach and interact with the players.

 

A full written evaluation will be emailed to each prospect following the clinic. This will include a look at your baseball skills, metrics, and full transparency as to where you stand in our recruiting process. This is a full day camp, and will cap the registration at 50 players. All players will receive an LVC baseball shirt with a number on the back.

 

Equipment

Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, cleats, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please wear baseball pants. There will be no cleats worn in the batting cages, so please bring turf or tennis shoes. The camp is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen belongings.

 

Check-in

Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to camp start time.

Parking and bathrooms are at McGill Field. The Stadium is located on the opposite side of 934 from the College.

 

Waiver Information

A waiver will be sent to you at a later date prior to the event.

 

Meals

No food will be provided, so please bring your own. Water jugs will be available.  Please plan accordingly.

Miscellaneous Information

What if I have to cancel a camp?

We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”. We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

 

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
