Junior Dons Baseball Leadership Camp Session 2
Location: USF Benedetti Diamond – San Francisco, CA
Monday, June 18, 2018 to Friday, June 22, 2018
Starts: 8:00am / Ends: 3:30pm
The University of San Francisco would like to invite High School Age players who are interested in becoming leaders in their lives.
Here at USF we take pride in developing our young players into responsible men by the time they graduate. It is our goal to help our players become successful in whatever avenue they wish to pursue. We do this through our D.O.N.S pillars which gives them all key words to focus on through a day to day basis. Each word has multiple meanings, but the ultimate goal is for them to live each day in the present moment so that they can be simple students, athletes, and men.
Through this camp players will receive morning and afternoon classroom style sessions on leadership. We will also examine different types of leadership through our D.O.N.S. pillars, while presenting different types of ways to identify/ work with people in their surroundings.
After the morning session campers will have the opportunity to put what they have learned into real world application. Throughout the day they will interact with kids while learning how to motivate different types of personalities. They will also be given the opportunity to work at their public speaking skills in front of small to large groups. Ultimately they will learn how to work with teammates, coworkers, along with being given the responsibility of planning and executing their own drills.
Camp will be conducted at: Benedetti Diamond San Francisco, CA 94117
Benedetti Diamond is the home of USF Dons Baseball. Our field has recently undergone renovations to add new stadium seating and state of the art turf. It is truly a unique spot to enjoy and learn about our national pastime.
All camp participations attending activities at Bendetti Diamond should be dropped off and picked up in the surface parking lot off of Golden Gate Ave between Hayes Healy and Memorial Gym. Campers should not be dropped off or picked up anywhere on Golden Gate Ave as per University of San Francisco policy.
Lunch is included in the price of camp.
This is not an “overnight” camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
USF Baseball merchandise will be available for purchase at this event.
What if I have to cancel a camp? We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”. We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
