Jay Johnson Youth Fall Camp

The Jay Johnson youth Fall camp is for grade school ball players from the ages of 6-14. This 4 day camp is an excellent opportunity for your young player to learn and develop his skills. Camp staff will emphasize hitting, fielding, base running, and throwing fundamentals. Campers will have a chance to use their skills in games. Campers will be divided by age and ability for games and drills. Space is limited! Sign up early!!
This camp will focus on all aspects of the game. Each player will have an opportunity to use new skills in games at the end of each day and will learn drills and techniques they can use on their own.
Beginning in 2012, Hi Corbett Field became the new home of Arizona baseball. Located approximately two miles southeast of the University of Arizona campus, Hi Corbett Field is the former Spring Training home of the Colorado Rockies and offers Major League-caliber amenities to the UA baseball program.
What to bring: Each camper should bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring glove, helmet, bat, hat, batting gloves, and cleats (optional). PLEASE NO METAL CLEATS. Tennis shoes are perfectly fine as well.
Parents are welcomed to stay through the duration of the camp, but their attendance is not required.
Jay Johnson Baseball Academy camps are open to any and all individuals. All camps are open to the public and all players are welcome to attend that are within ages of the advertised camp. Jay Johnson Baseball Academy camps are not an official function of the University of Arizona.

Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Check-in for camp will begin at 7:30am at the field.

There will be a 30-40 minute lunch break each day, lunch will not be provided, so please come prepared. We will have a snack bar open, but feel free to bring your own lunch.
University Arizona Baseball merchandise will be available to purchase while at camp.
First Aid Responder: There will be a First Aid Responder on staff for any illnesses or injuries.
Refund Policy: We do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”. We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration. If you choose not to purchase Cancellation Protection, we offer you a camp credit for the full payment to be used at a future camp. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit is also transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp. If campers choose to not use the full payment as credit toward a future camp, they will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee.
