Description

This day camp (8:30am until 11:30am) is designed for both boys and girls of all abilities. Campers are grouped by age and skill level. Daily activities include instructional practices and games in a fun and challenging environment with emphasis on individual soccer technique, team-building, and sportsmanship values. HSA’s experienced staff are all positive role models with a contagious passion for the game.

 

Discounts

Register before June 6 to receive Early Bird discount of $55!  All other Hilltopper Soccer Academy discounts are NOT available for this particular camp. Our sibling and multi-camp discounts exclude the Half Day Camp.

 

Check-In

The specific location and time varies for each camp’s registration. Please make sure that you are looking at the correct check-in information below for the specific camp that you are attending.

 

Registration for the Half Day Camp will take place between 8:00am-8:30am on Monday, July 17 on the 3rd floor of Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium (larger side of the football stadium next to Parking Structure No. 2).  All camp information including a link to a WKU campus map can be found on our camp page at www.wkusoccercamps.com

 

Upon arrival, please park in Parking Structure No. 2 (Building #16 on the campus map), located next to Smith Stadium (Building #17).  Enter the building of Smith Stadium using entrance C by the Gate 4 sign.  Once inside the building, take the elevator or stair case on your right side up to the soccer suite on the 3rd floor.  We will only be allowing one-way pedestrian traffic into the building for our registration process, so please enter at the designated location above.

 

Location

The Hilltopper Soccer Academy will take place on the scenic campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Please click here for directions to the WKU campus.

 

What To Bring

Please remember to pack a soccer ball, soccer shoes, shin guards, casual shoes, flat-soled shoes for indoor use, sunscreen, warm-up/rain suit, and a water bottle. Please clearly label your personal items.

 

Facilities

The primary training location for this camp will be the DSU South Lawn located in the heart of WKU’s campus. Additional facilities across campus may also be utilized.

 

Academy Staff

HSA carefully selects instructors based on their knowledge, expertise, and passion for the game.  Current and former WKU soccer players will serve as assistant coaches, group leaders and mentors.  A qualified athletic trainer will be on-site to supervise campers.

 

Medical Staff

Medical staff will be on hand to care for any situation that might arise during camp. In the event of injury, a Certified Athletic Trainer will assess on-site and determine the appropriate care. If additional care is needed (emergency care, x-ray, etc.), your child will be taken to the nearest facility, and you will be notified as soon as possible.

 

Cancellation Protection

Due to the minimal cost of this camp, we do NOT offer Cancellation Protection for this camp session. If you must cancel for any reason, please give us at least 72 hours advance notice and you will be refunded half of the registration fee. Camp refunds will be processed at the end of the camp season in August.

 

Meals

No meals will be provided for this camp.

 

Accommodations

This is not an “overnight” camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.

 

Merchandise

Hilltopper soccer merchandise will be available for purchase at this event.

 

Communication

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
