Hitting Specialty Camp

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to our 2017 Winter Baseball Camps.  Our camps are located on the beautiful campus of The University of Mississippi.  The Hitting Specialty Camp is designed to teach players of all ages the proper mechanics to be successful at the next level.


This camp offers extensive instruction on the specific skill of hitting for campers of all grade levels. Some of the skills the campers Will learn are:


Swing mechanics
Mental side
Base running
Weight training
Video evaluation


Days & Times: Saturday runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday from 9:00am to 12:00pm


Each camper needs to provide their own
• Baseball Glove
• Baseball Cleats/Spikes
• Baseball Cap
• Tennis Shoes (For indoor workouts)
• Baseball Pants (Optional)
• Baseball Bat (Optional)
• Spending Money for Concessions & Souvenir Stand
* Please be sure to clearly label all personal equipment items


Camp staff will group players by school classification for instruction and completion.

• Grades 1-3 ….. A Division
• Grades 4-5 ….. AA Division
• Grades 6-8 ….. AAA Division
• Grades 9-10 ….. Prep Division
• Grades 11-12 ….. Senior Prep Division
*We reserve the right to adjust campers’ division according to playing experience & baseball ability.

Additional Information
Supervision is provided around the clock, from drop off to departure. 
Health care will be provided by a full-time trainer.
Each session begins and ends at the O-U Baseball Stadium. 
Transportation will be provided for campers throughout the weekend.


Each morning and afternoon session will begin and end at the O-U Stadium/Swayze Field. Our beautifully-manicured field, indoor hitting complex, and team meeting room provide campers with a unique opportunity to play in one of college baseball’s most highly regarded and recognized facilities. We will also utilize other facilities on campus such as the Olivia and Archie Manning Athletics Performance Center, Softball Complex, the Turner Center, Gillom Sports Center, and the Intramural Fields. This allows the camp to operate for the entire week regardless of weather.


Camp is open to any and all entrants. (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender)



Campers will check in on Saturday at the left field entrance to O-U Stadium from 8:00am to 8:45am.


Waiver Information

Waiver & Medical Release Form will be attached to your e-mail confirmation. It is also available in this camp listing. 

Please print fill out, sign and deliver this form to the registration check in on the first day of camp. You will be unable to attend camp without this form. Download Waiver Form



Lunch will be provided on Saturday only.

Miscellaneous Information

Refund Policy: $100.00 non-refundable deposit on all registrations. Camp credit is available for entire amount if you choose.
