Colorado College Volleyball Camp 2018 – All Skills II

Monday, July 16, 2018 to Wednesday, July 18, 2018

Starts: 9:00am / Ends: 4:00pm



The Colorado College Volleyball Camps are designed to improve skill level, enhance complete player development and build confidence in your ability. The All Skills Camp is designed to give campers a fun and challenging experience, with the focus on all aspects of volleyball.  This camp is great for players of all levels who want to work on their skillset and improve their volleyball IQ.   


Skill Training: will allow players to improve on individual skills.


Game Training; will allow players to apply what they have learned in game-like settings.


Video Analysis: Campers will get instant video feedback that will help them learn correct techniques easier and faster.


General Information

Cost: $225.00

A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required with registration. Remaining balance is due on the first day of camp.

Each Camper will receive a: Camp Volleyball, Camp T-shirt and a Goalsetting Map.


Campers should bring the following: Shorts or tights, t-shirts, socks, court shoes, kneepads, water bottle and sack lunch.


Camp Director

Colorado College Head Coach Rick Swan is the director of the Colorado College volleyball camps.  In 20 seasons at Colorado College, Coach Swan, the all-time winningest coach (515-167) in the program’s history, has lead his teams to 20 straight NCAA appearances including this past seaon to a 33-2 record and a NCAA DIII national ranking of #4. Coach Swan has been coaching and playing the game of volleyball for over 25 years and has extensive experience in teaching the game of volleyball to young players.  His junior club team won the Colorado Crossroads National Qualifier in ’07 and he coached his 12-under team to a tenth place finish at USA Junior Nationals in 2010.   


Assistant Camp Directors

Colorado College Coach Wayne Wetherby will be the assistant director at the camp.   Coach Wetherby has coached volleyball at the high school and club levels over the past 20 years and has been coaching at the collegiate level for the past 12 years. CC assistant coaches Bruno Chateau and Chad Koenegstein will also be involved in our summer camps.     Their experience and ability to teach volleyball to young players has brought much success to the programs with which they have been involved.


Additional Staff

Current Colorado College players, high school and club coaches, and other local college players will complete the camp staff.


TrueSport Camps
The Colorado College Volleyball Camps once again will be TrueSport Camps. TrueSport is a movement powered by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) that seeks to ensure a positive youth sport experience by imparting the lessons of clean competition, sportsmanship, and peak performance. In learning how to win the right way, young athletes gain the skills to be leaders in life. TrueSport is a community-driven movement that champions the positive values and life lessons learned through sport. TrueSport Camps aim to change the playing field by providing a series of educational activities, lessons and resources for the campers. Other Camp Programs: If the Colorado College Camp dates don’t work for you, Coach Swan and his staff also offer private lessons, small group lessons or a private team camp.

This is not an “overnight” camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
