Hitting Session

Yale Head Coach Jen Goodwin will oversee the Hitting Session with the Yale Coaching Staff.

We will review the fundamentals of hitting, plus some advanced drills we use to improve bat speed, power, and consistency.

We will also cover bunting and slapping for those interested.



Led by Yale Assistant Coach Lex Debrosse. Infielders will work on throwing, fielding, fundamental defensive drills, as well as bunt defense.



Led by Yale Assistant Coach Laura Ricciardone.

Pitchers will work on mechanics, various pitch spins, as well as drills to improve your overall pitching game.



Led by Yale Assistant Coach Mandy McCarthy and UMass Lowell Head Coach Jen Starek.

Catchers will work on throwing, framing, and blocking, in addition to other fundamentals of catching.



Led by Yale Head Coach Jen Goodwin and Wesleyan Head Coach Jen Lane.

Outfielders will work on throwing, fielding, and positioning, in addition to other fundamentals of outfield work.


Clinic Schedule

09:30am-10:00am … Registration (Field House)

10:00am-12:00pm … Hitting and Baserunning (Field House)

12:30pm-02:30pm … Defense (Indoor Bubble)

12:30pm-02:30pm … Pitching (Indoor Bubble) Note: Pitchers must bring their own catchers.


**Note: Pitchers CANNOT register for BOTH Pitching & Defense**


The Bulldog Softball Camps are open to any and all entrants who meet the gender and age limits.




Defense or Pitching Only: $125.00

Hitting Only: $125.00

Both Sessions: $230.00

The NCAA prohibits free/reduced admission for prospect aged individuals.


What to bring

Each player must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, turfs or tennis shoes, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete.

Catchers must bring their own gear.



Please check in 30 minutes prior to the start of the first session each day, as we will start promptly on both days of camp.

This is not an overnight camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”.

We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible.

Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid.

The credit is valid for three years from the camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends and good toward a future camp.
