Description

These hitting sessions will focus on the fundamentals of hitting. We will cover the basic mechanics of the swing and focus on the development of a balanced and efficient swing. Along with the physical elements we will focus on the mental aspects of hitting as well. This camp will also cover bunting, slapping and power hitting. Each session will cover various fundamentals of hitting. Lead instructor of this camp is 2007 National Pro Fastpitch Player of the Year and Head Softball Coach at Delaware State University, Amber Jackson along with several players from the DSU Softball Program.

Mondays: February 5, 12, and 19          
Ages 13-18 years old … Time: 4:00pm-5:30pm (Group Size 3-6 people)
Ages 7-12 years old ….. Time: 5:30pm-7:00pm (Group Size 3-6 people)

 

Cost:  $45.00

 

Equipment
Each camper must bring his own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark name on all items. All pitchers must provide their own catchers.

 

Amber Jackson’s Softball Camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants within the age specifications listed, on a first come first served basis. Any questions regarding camp, please email/or call Coach Jackson.

Refund policy: There will be no cash refunds. Credits will be given toward future Amber Jackson’s Softball Camps.
