2023 Sacramento State Summer Girls Camp IV

Description

This camp will be happening during the mornings of Monday through Thursday (9:00 am until 12:00 pm) and is designed for girls of all abilities. Campers are grouped by age and skill level. Daily activities include instructional practices and games in a fun and challenging environment with an emphasis on individual soccer technique, team-building, and sportsmanship values. Our camp staff will be composed of current Sacramento State Women’s Soccer coaches and players who are all positive role models with a contagious passion for the game.

 

Camp Staff

Sacramento State women’s soccer head coach, Randy Dedini is in his 17^th season as the head coach for the Hornets. Dedini, who is a -time Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year, has guided the Hornets to unprecedented success, including two NCAA Tournament appearances and two conference titles. He is the winningest coach in program history in terms total of total wins and winning percentage. He is joined on staff by Associate Head Coach, Bernardo Silva and by assistant coach, Danielle Davis as part of the camp staff.

 

Equipment

• water bottle
• ball (*with their name on it)
• shin guards
• cleats
• athletic attire and sunscreen to camp each day
• snack (*we will offer a time for them to eat a snack around 10:30 every day)

 

Location

The camps will be held on the Sacramento State Intramural Fields with match play taking place on the Hornet Soccer Field on the campus of Sacramento State. For a Campus Map click HERE

 

Directions

From the south entrance (Highway 50) continue on State University Drive South past the stadium. Follow the road around campus to Lot 1. Turn right at the stop sign. The soccer stadium is located west of Yosemite Hall along State University Drive.

 

From the north entrance (J Street), stay to the right as you drive on campus. Follow the road as it veers right to State University Drive North. Turn left at the first stop sign and park in Lot 1. The soccer stadium is located west of Yosemite Hall along State University Drive.

 

Check-In

Camp check-in will begin at 8:30am on the first day of camp. The remainder of the week we will not begin check-in until 8:45am.

 

Discounts

Family Discount

For families with at least two players signed up for the camp, a $15.00 discount per person is offered.

Faculty/Staff Discount

For Faculty/Staff members, a $50.00 discount per person is offered.

Group Discount

For groups (recreational or club teams) of 3 or more people, a d $15.00 discount per person is offered.

Waiver Information

Please print, complete and email the waiver on the link below to Associate Head Coach, Bernardo Silva at bernardo.silva@csus.edu. We prefer all waivers to be received PRIOR to day of camp. If camp participant does not have the waiver signed and filled out by a parent/guardian they will not be able to participate until we have it in hand. We will have some waivers at the first day of check-in registration – although completing and emailing the waiver PRIOR to camp helps speed up the registration process for everyone!  Download Waiver

 

Parking Information

Parking is located near Hornet field in Parking Structure 1 on the Sac State Campus.  Virtual parking permits are available for purchase through the University Transportation and Parking Services (UTAPS) website ONLY.  Guests will be required to create a guest account and purchase a virtual permit directly from UTAPS. Click here to access the University Transportation and Parking Services (UTAPS) website and purchase a parking permit.

Miscellaneous Information

Refund / Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation after registration will incur a $25 fee.  All cancellations must be submitted in writing.  No refunds will be issued with any cancellations or no-shows on or after the first day of registered camp.  Registration cost is NOT pro-rated for missed days.

 

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way to communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you registered for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily to stay informed of any possible changes, etc.
