Description

The first Special Teams Camp at Sacramento State, this camp is designed for athletes who want to learn or improve upon the fundamentals of placekicking, punting and long sapping. Sacramento State Special Teams Coordinator Fred Kelley along with a host of Sacramento State and visiting coaches will cover all aspects of the kicking game, including individualized technique, mental and physical conditioning, and strategy as it relates to special teams. 

 

Cost: $115.00 (Lunch is Provided)

 

Camp Schedule

9:00am – 12:00pm – Morning Session

12:00pm – 1:00pm – Lunch

1:00pm – 4:00pm – Afternoon Session

 

Open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

 

WHAT TO BRING 

  • Football Cleats and Sneakers
  • Athletic Shorts and a T-Shirt
  • Own Football Clearly Marked
  • All camps are non-contact, no Football equipment is required
  • Sunscreen
  • Spending $ (There will be a store to purchase snacks, drinks and Sac State apparel)

 

It is recommended that you leave electronics (ipods, ipads, laptops) and jewelry at home. Sacramento State Camp and Clinics, LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Sacramento State Camp and Clinics, LLC is not responsible for parking citations.

 

Location 

All Sacramento State Football Camps will be held in Hornet Stadium. Campers will be able to go through the Broad Fieldhouse for film sessions and work their way through the weight room and locker rooms.

 

Health, Safety and Insurance Information 

All participants must be covered by personal medical insurance. In addition to a parent/guardian waiver, we encourage that each camper submit a copy of their Fall 2018 Sports or School Physical. Due to the heat and fast-paced tempo of our practices, each camper is encouraged to come to camp in good physical condition. Every effort is made to protect the health and safety of each camper through our certified athletic training staff, supervised warm-up periods, constant inspection of equipment and responsible instruction. It is the responsibility of each camper to stay hydrated. Water will be available at all times. Campers without the proper parent/guardian signatures on their registration form will not be allowed to participate!

Parking

Parking is $6 per day on the Sac State camps. We are not responsible for parking citations.
